The Aviator – Charlotte & Chris
By · CommentsBack in December I had the pleasure of photographing a really exciting wedding at The Aviator, a contemporary, stylish and very unique hotel in Farnborough, Hampshire.
Charlotte and Chris had planned a wonderful experience for their guests, with the days events spanning all 4 floors of the hotel from the beautiful dining room right up to the exquisite Sky Bar and I have to say it was just like being in an old Hollywood film….. glamourous and super sophisticated, it was such great fun!
We were also lucky enough to have the wedding featured in Your Surrey Wedding this month to check it out! Big thanks to Jamie Micciche who did an amazing job as 2nd Photographer
Nonsuch Mansion…. and a slapped wrist!
By · CommentsFirstly, I would like apologise for the lack of blog posts over the last few months!
It’s been a really busy wedding season and I have been fortunate enough to travel across the UK for some beautiful weddings this summer, but sadly this has meant my poor blog has been neglected!
I’m going get started now by blogging some summer weddings, will try and play catch up!
You will also notice that I am also going to start incorporating my Wedding and Fashion blog into one, save a bit time by having just one blog!
Anyway back to this wedding….
Simon & Ella at Nonsuch Mansion, 13th August 2011
It’s hard not to love Nonsuch Mansion; I have to say it’s been one of my favourite venues to shoot at this year for many reasons. It was also helped along by the fact that Simon & Ella were such a fantastic couple to work with, a real pleasure!
Beautiful light, amazing, well thought out decor and a really great team of staff made my job very easy. It’s amazing when you find a great venue that lends itself so well to great photographic opportunities whatever the great British weather throws at us, although on the 13th August, we were lucky to get a day of perfect weather to play with!
A big thanks to Simon & Ella for looking after us so well, it was a beautiful, sophisticated and very relaxed day and I hope you all enjoy the pictures from day!
PS; another big up to Richard my 2nd Photographer who did a fab job
Michael & Cheryl – Frome – Orchardleigh House
By · CommentsBack in May I spent a wonderful day down in Frome, Somerset photographing the beautiful wedding of Michael and Cheryl Vertannes.
Mike and Cheryl are actually based locally to me in Surrey so I wondered why they chose to get married at Orchardleigh House in Somerset, however when I went down for the engagement shoot, I soon saw why they choose it as a venue!
A truly beautiful old house with a stunning view and lovely grounds, plus the couple and their guests got to have the run of the whole house for the weekend, which certainly allowed them to chill and enjoy the whole day!
I had such fun documenting their special day and truly loved the beautiful big rooms that allowed light to flood in and give me superb light to play with, that coupled with a lovely couple, fantastic family and friends and great weather = Happy Photographer

London Calling!
By · CommentsLondon Calling!
So last weekend, I had great fun shooting Jake & Hasmira’s engagment shoot up at London’s South Bank.
I was pretty tired as I had shot two weddings back to back over the weekend, but the beautiful sunshine, cool location and a really fun couple was inspiring and we had a great time shooting around some of London’s most famous spots!
Jake and Hasmira are a really great couple and this week I have the honour of documenting their wedding, in fact their two weddings!
On Thursday they are having a a traditional Hindu ceremony to honour Hashmira’s heritage and on Sunday they are having a civil service combined with some Jewish traditions to honour Jakes heritage.
So I’m looking forward to a colourful and fun-filled week and thought I would share these pictures before their big day!

And so it begins!
By · CommentsSo, Wedding Season is well and truly underway!
I must apologise for the lack of posts, it’s been non stop weddings since April, and as they say… no rest for the wicked
Here is a wonderful wedding from back in April, it was held over the Easter weekend and everyone had a ball!
Andrew and Sarah got married at St Michael’s Church, Camberley (just over the road from my studio!!) it was a truly beautiful service as Bruce, the Vicar of St Michael’s always seems to be able to touch at the heart strings as well as throwing a bit of comedy into the mix ( I am biased however, as he married two of my very best friends back in 2007)
The reception was held at the very contemporary Village Hotel in Farnborough, the guests were take from the church to the venue on a big red bus and I used this to my advantage to capture some fun shots on the way over and also as a great setting for the newly married couple to have some beautiful romantic shots
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much a I enjoyed photographing this couple’s wedding day!

ps. big up to Richard my great assistant/2nd shooter!

Wedding season is almost here!
By · CommentsSo, I have just had my first pre-wedding meeting and engagement shoot of the year and I’m getting excited about wedding season already!
My first wedding this year is at Amberley Castle in Arundel, West Sussex and all I can say is WOW!
On arrival, the castle literally took my breath away and I stood for a few minutes, just taking it in.
Amberley dates back to the 14th century and has 60ft medieval walls all the way around, battlements, a moat (now a beautiful croquet lawn) inside is a beautiful manor house.
So this venue is pretty much a photographers dream and when you add to that a truly lovely couple, who love the venue just as much as I do… I think we are in for a great day and I cant wait to see what we produce!
Congratulations and good luck to all the wonderful brides and grooms across the UK who are getting married this year, heres to a fantastically beautiful wedding season!
